The State Government, in partnership with Business SA, has launched Tender Ready, a project to make small businesses more successful in winning government contracts.
Business SA has developed a comprehensive report and handbook based on the experience of 12 businesses, including Aboriginal and non-government organisations.
The handbook is a tool to help small businesses write better tenders, including how to structure responses, respond to tender requirements and present the business, product or service in a way that demonstrates why it should win the contract.
The Office of the Industry Advocate (OIA) has developed the Supplying to Government Workshop as an extension of the Tender Ready project.
These workshops are for businesses in South Australia that:
- have little or no experience tendering for government work
- have tendering experience but want to increase their ‘wins’
- need assistance to navigate government procurement.
Topics covered include:
- knowing your customer
- understanding the rules
- understanding the process
- finding opportunities
- building relationships
- tendering to win.
At the end of the workshop, the OIA can arrange a complimentary follow-up one-on-one meeting and site visit (if preferred) with an OIA Industry Participation Consultant.
All workshops are fully subscribed at this stage. Contact us for additional information.
