Showcasing match-fit South Australian businesses
When the South Productivity Commission conducted its Inquiry into the State’s Procurement System it concluded the South Australian Industry Participation Policy can assist achieving an outcome of more competitive local businesses.
It also found this approach, rather than direct industry support, is more likely to contribute to a business environment that fosters ‘match-fit’ businesses that are competitive in markets beyond South Australia.
The Office of the Industry Advocate has been conducting a series of interviews with business leaders to showcase some of the excellent ‘match fit’ businesses that exist in our State. So often these businesses ‘fly under the radar’ and many in the community do not know the significant contribution they are making to the State economy by way of employing South Australians and investing in the State. The first in this series is with Paul Vinton from Vintek a local data services business.
These interviews will appear on the Industry Advocate website to showcase the various business and importantly have the business owners/mangers share their success story.
